BREE & ODIN
Safaree Shesmi Bi Bear & Safaree Hesa Norti Bear
September-November 2009: BREE and ODIN were the only two Bi-blacks in the Show Ring in Australia. They were entered in a number of shows and did well considering the bi-blacks are not seen often.
- ODIN was awarded a credible 3rd place at the Sydney Royal 2009 under a Finnish judge; a Puppy of Breed under a New Zealand judge and a Puppy of Breed at the Brisbane Royal under an Indian judge. He was also one of four shortlisted for Puppy of Group at the Brisbane Royal, out of a total 9 entries.
- BREE was awarded 3rd place at the Shetland Sheepdog Show, Sydney under a Sheltie specialist in April 2009. From the judge's critique: "Overall body type well proportioned and overall construction good with a free flow movement, excellent head planes and overall expression."
- BREE was awarded a Minor Puppy of Breed and x3 Reserve Bitch Challenges.
- At Pine Rivers Kennel Club 6 September 2009 ODIN was awarded Reserve Dog CC and Runner Up Best of Breed, whilst BREE was awarded Reserve Bitch CC.
- At Noosa Championship Show 11 September 2009 ODIN was awarded Dog CC, Best of Breed and Puppy in Group, whilst BREE was awarded Bitch CC and Runner up Best of Breed.
- At Beaudesert Kennel Club on 06 Nov 2009 under Mr K Kashiwagi of Japan, ODIN was awarded Reserve Dog Challenge, Runner up Best of Breed and Junior of Group, from a strong line-up.
- In late 2009 we decided to retire BREE from the ring, allowing her more time to mature.
March-May 2010: In the Show Ring, ODIN has been awarded:
- Proston 13/03/2010 Best of Breed;
- Murgon 20/03/2010 Dog Challenge, Runner Up Best of Breed;
- Bundaberg 27/05/2010 Best of Breed;
- Gin Gin 29/05/2010 Best of Breed;
- Isis 30/05/2010 Best of Breed.
