WELCOME TO SAFAREE SHETLAND SHEEPDOGS

Originally from Auckland, New Zealand, we moved to Woodford from Maleny on Queensland's Sunshine Coast in August 2007. By then, we had been living in Maleny for several years, but ventured slightly further east after realising we needed more space to breed our pedigree Shelties.

I have been lucky enough to have been associated with Shelties since 1988, and they are first and foremost my family.

Our Shelties are all house dogs and have the run of both the house and property. The seven litters which I have bred have all been whelped in the spare bedroom.

We breed for type, temperament, movement and soundness. In 2008 we fulfilled our dream of breeding Bi-Black Shelties. This we have achieved by utilising some old English and European Bloodlines. Details of this litter are available via the "bi-blacks" and "pedigrees" links, with more information and photographs being added regularly as the puppies grow.

Our adult Shelties have been shown as youngsters. Again, please refer to our 'pedigrees' page for more information about our dogs and puppies, and our 'gallery' pages for photos.

In mid-2006, our Shelties became involved in activities such as Lure Coursing and Herding. This website is updated regularly with photographs and information on their progress.
